Terms of Service — Hey Money

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hey Money app and heymoney.ai website (together, the "Service"), operated by Hey World Digital Media LLC ("Hey Money", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Hey Money is a personal finance app for tracking subscriptions, budgets, cheques, loans, shared bills, and net worth. It is a record-keeping and reminder tool — it does not move money, extend credit, or act as a bank, payment institution, or financial advisor. Nothing in the app is financial, tax, or legal advice.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hey Money.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter — Hey Money reflects what you record, it does not independently verify it.

3. Free and Pro plans

Hey Money offers a free plan with limited features and a paid Pro plan with expanded limits and features. Pro pricing is shown in-app and on heymoney.ai before purchase. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Nomod; by subscribing you also agree to Nomod's applicable terms for the transaction.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by applicable law. If you purchased through an app store, that store's refund policy applies instead.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Hey Money for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or fraud
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data
Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
Use the Service to harass or defraud another person, including through the split-bill or invite features

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content

You own the financial data, notes, and files you put into Hey Money. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit it solely to provide the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy for how it's protected.

6. Third-party services

Hey Money integrates with third-party providers — Supabase for data storage, Nomod for payments, Brevo for email delivery. We are not responsible for outages or errors originating from these providers, though we work to minimize their impact on you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time — do not rely on Hey Money as your sole method of avoiding a missed payment or a bounced cheque. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hey Money disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hey World Digital Media LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed payments, late fees, or bounced cheques resulting from a missed or delayed reminder. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using Hey Money and delete your account at any time — see Account Deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, notify you in the app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
