This Privacy Policy describes how Hey World Digital Media LLC ("Hey Money", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Hey Money app and the heymoney.ai website. By using Hey Money, you agree to this policy.
Email address and password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth). We never see or store your password in plain text.
Everything you record in the app to make it work: subscriptions and their renewal dates, budgets, transactions, cheque and bank details you type in for cheque tracking, loans and debts, goals, net worth items, and notes. This is manually entered by you or, if you attach a photo, extracted from that photo.
Photos you choose to attach to a transaction, cheque, or record, stored in a private file bucket that only your account can read.
If you turn on Face ID or fingerprint lock, the biometric check happens entirely on your device through Apple's or Google's operating system. Hey Money never receives, stores, or transmits any biometric data.
If you upgrade to Pro, checkout is handled by our payment processor, Nomod. Your card details go directly to Nomod and its payment partners — Hey Money never receives or stores your card number.
Basic technical data needed to run the app and send reminders: device type, OS version, and app version. Hey Money does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We use a small number of service providers ("subprocessors") to run Hey Money. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We only disclose it beyond the list above if required by law, or with your explicit consent.
Every table in our database has row-level security enabled — there is no table a user can query and see another user's data, even if a bug existed elsewhere in the app. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Files you attach are stored in private buckets, not publicly accessible.

See our Account Deletion page for the exact steps. If you are in the EU/UK, these are your GDPR rights to data portability and erasure. If you are in the UAE, these map to the same rights under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed immediately — there is no waiting period. We may retain minimal transaction records where required by law (for example, payment records for tax/audit purposes), stripped of anything that identifies you personally.
Hey Money is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
Hey Money is used across the UAE, GCC, and India. Your data is stored on Supabase's Australia region regardless of where you use the app, and is protected in transit by encryption.
If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
