Fastest way — delete it yourself, in the app

Hey Money's account deletion is instant and self-serve. No form, no waiting period, no support ticket required.

  1. 1 Open Hey Money and sign in
  2. 2 Go to Profile → Delete Account
  3. 3 Type DELETE to confirm

Your account and every record tied to it — subscriptions, budgets, cheques, loans, goals, transactions, attachments, everything — is permanently deleted immediately. This cannot be undone and we cannot recover it for you afterward.

No access to the app? Request deletion by email

If you've lost access to the app or your device, email privacy@heymoney.ai from the address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account." We verify the request is really you, then delete your account manually. This normally takes 2 business days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and login

• All subscriptions and price history

• All budgets and reflections

• All cheques, loans, and debts

• All goals and net worth records

• All transactions and journal entries

• All attached receipts and documents

• Your entitlements and Pro status

We may retain the minimum record required by law for financial audit or tax purposes (for example, a completed payment record), stripped of anything that identifies you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first — deleting your account stops the app from working but does not automatically cancel a payment-provider subscription. Cancel from Settings → Subscription in the app, or through the app store you subscribed via.
